Buena Vista Elementary School Mrs. Boff Teacher - kindergarten          I nominate Joe S. for the April winner of the Random Acts of Kindness. Joe exhibits the 3 R's in our school code of conduct - he is Responsible, Respectable and Ready to learn. He is a helping friend to all the students in his class. Joe has a love of learning that is reflected in his everyday actions. As Joe's teacher I look forward to seeing Joe develop into a fine young man.
Claxton Elementary School Stacey Caskey Teacher - grade 2         Our Random Act of Kindness honoree for this month is Noah Edington. Noah has been a super help to me since finding out that I was expecting a baby. He lifts everything in the classroom and carries all my books around. What a super kid!
P. S. 279 Winnie Bracco Assistant Principal         I would like to nominate Ebony for the April Random Act of Kindness award, She found money and turned it in to a teacher. What an honest young lady!
Southwest Accelerated Elementary Ruth Kem Teacher - Grade 4          Congratulations to Matthew, our Kindness Award Recipient for April. Matthew has been nominated because he has been friendly to loads of people in many different ways. He likes to share his special toys with others and he is always keen to go to his friend's places to play. He is a great helper in our classroom and always asks amazing questions. He is an excellent artist and we are all immensely proud of our good friend Matthew. Keep it up, Matthew!
	Troeschyna Gimnasia Olena Shatrova Teacher - English         Our honoree is Masha. She always gets good marks at all lessons. She‚Äôs one of the best pupils in our class. She always tries to help each of us and does her best in every life situations. She used to be a dancer, but now she is just trying to teach us, and concentrates her attention on the education. Our Masha is very kind and often smiles.
Troeschyna Gimnasia Olena Shatrova Teacher - English           Our honoree is Nastya. She is quite a good student. She always tries to be kind to everyone. She has some interesting hobbies: karate, her dog and her plants. She is very generous and often helps people when they get into trouble.
	Troeschyna Gimnasia Olena Shatrova Teacher - English         Olya is our honoree. Olya is a person to who you always want to talk to. If you have problems you can ask her for an advice, but the most important, she can just listen to you. Olya knows mathematics and she can explain you anything if you don't understand. Olya is a kind person and a good friend.
Narragansett Elementary School Carol Batchelder Teacher - Technology         I would like to nominate Connor, a 3rd grader in Mrs. Blumenbaum's class. "He is absolutely amazing -- he's always thinking of others--in fact, during the Battle of the Books he shook hands with opposing team mates -- this having not been talked about -- Connor said, "Good Luck" -- he actually set the tone!‚Äù exclaimed Mrs. B. Also, Mrs. Shea came personally to thank him for reading to her Mom on class visits to a local senior center. Her Mom remembered Connor and his stories for 2 MONTHS -- which is a miracle!!!Mrs. Shea had tears in her eyes as she, Connor, and Mrs. B talked. You can tell Mrs. Blumenbaum really thinks Connor's great!
P.S. 279 Rosalie Azzopardi Teacher - Grade 3         Chenee Redrick from Astral 3-204 is nominated for the Random Act of Kindness award because she is a good role model for the students in her class. She is respectful to all staff members and students. Chenee has many friends because of her positive attitude. She is always willing to help out.
P.S. 279 Harriet Stolzenberg Teacher - computer lab         Justin A. , of class 1-109, is my nominee for the Random Act of Kindness award this month. He stopped playing on the computer to teach Terrance how to play a game. He unselfishly gave up his own time on the computer to do this. What a fine young man!
Steele School Scott Stolzenberg Teacher - Music         Nicole is in fifth grade at the Milburn School. For the last few weeks, she's been motivating and assisting her fellow classmates prepare for our school musical, "Into The Woods."Whether it was making Sleeping Beauty's bed, setting the three bears' table or gluing leaves onto Jack's beanstalk, Nicole was there to lend a helping hand and ensure a successful production!
P.S. 279 Terry Maryl Literacy Staff Developer         I would like to take this opportunity to nominate Ms. Fishman and her Project Read plus Math class for the Random Act of Kindness of the Month Award. Every afternoon during snack (before the children go up to their after school class), they take it upon themselves to make sure our school's lunchroom is clean. They go from table to table picking up whatever is needed and will pick up things from the floor even though it is not from their class. This selfless act is so appreciated by our administration, custodians, and myself that I couldn't let it go without telling you about their deeds.
